Hopsie's build

Hopsie is slowly becoming our home on wheels: practical, cozy, and built for the slower way we like to travel.

Idea & concept

How Hopsie is taking shape

This is not a polished finished project, but a build that grows with every trip. What works stays. What becomes annoying on the road gets improved.

The idea is a cozy tiny house on wheels: a separate bathroom, lengthwise sleeping, a generous seating area, and as much autonomy as possible.

This section will collect floor plan notes, furniture, materials, and practical solutions. Not as a perfect manual, but as what works for us.

Manuel expands the site and the build bit by bit. What proves useful on the road gets its place here.

Living & everyday use The build should work on the road: sturdy, cozy, serviceable, and with enough room to live, not just sleep.

Energy & solar Solar and power supply are part of the autonomy plan. Concrete technical details will be added once they are documented properly.
Water Fresh water, grey water, and the bathroom area should stay practical for everyday use. The exact setup will get its place in the technology section.
Technology & controls Control and smart-home features should support everyday life in Hopsie without making the build unnecessarily complicated.
Storage & progress Storage, workshop solutions, and small improvements grow with our trips. The documentation will be added step by step.

More about the project

The detailed solar, water, and technology pages will grow over time. Until then, this overview shows which topics matter in the build.
