Planwiese in Telgte – Free Motorhome Parking by the Ems River

Planwiese in Telgte offers four official free motorhome parking spaces. However, the large parking area is also often used by other motorhomes staying overnight. The site is located directly by the Ems River and next to a lovely park, making it ideal for a morning walk with the dogs. Electricity and fresh water are available on site. Waste disposal is possible at the local sewage treatment plant. Fresh water costs €1.00 for 100 litres, and electricity is charged at €0.79 per kWh. The electricity and water points are located a little away from some of the parking spaces, so a 25-metre cable may be a bit short depending on where you park. In the evening and at night, the area is pleasantly quiet. During the day, the nearby road can be heard, but personally, I did not find it disturbing. Overall, Planwiese is a practical and nicely located place for a peaceful stopover in Telgte.
