Motorhome Site at Schachtholm Airfield, Kiel Canal

A lovely motorhome stopover in a great location directly beside the Kiel Canal. The pitches are generously sized, and it is wonderful to watch the ships passing by. The small airfield next door also adds interest without disturbing us. Electricity is available at every pitch, as is Wi-Fi. All disposal facilities are provided: cassette toilets can be emptied, and grey water can also be disposed of using a hose, although there is no ground drain. Overall, a very pleasant place that we would be happy to recommend.
